Over 300 community groups listed - find your nearest
We launched a new interactive map earlier this week to show you where your nearest local community group is, that can help if you need support during this period of self-isolation and staying in. We're adding to the list every day as soon as we hear about more. We've now got more than 300 community groups listed. Find out which groups are operating near you, and if you need support please let them know.
To add a local group that is missing, please pass your details to us using this form.
There's advice for setting up local support groups, including getting in touch with your local Council for Voluntary Service (CVS), on our website.

Devon County Council update: Shielding vulnerable people in Devon's communities
A network of ‘shielding hubs’ coordinated by local authorities is rapidly being set up across Devon to immediately help those most at risk from coronavirus (COVID-19) with urgent food, medicine and care supplies.
We are working with our local district and city councils in response to the government’s announcement that 1.5 million of the UK’s most vulnerable people are being asked to ‘shield’ in self-isolation for at least 12 weeks.
Details of the hubs and the process for receiving support over the coming weeks are still being agreed, but it is likely that following the initial contact from the NHS, the individual will be contacted by one of our staff to find out what their needs are and how best to support them, with the district and city councils working to locally manage the delivery of this support within their communities.
Welcome to the Dunsford Village Website
Dunsford, in the County of Devon, is in the South West corner of England - nestling in the Teign Valley, within the Dartmoor National Park, right where the River Teign changes its mind and heads south from its original easterly direction......must be one of the prettiest villages in Devon - well we reckon so!
This website is the place to find interesting and practical information for those who live here, those visiting on holiday and also for anyone planning to move into the area.
It is a quiet, beautiful village but also has a thriving community life.
Although the website is Managed by Karen Morris, many people have contributed to it's construction and many of the pages are updated and edited by the organisations themselves.
If you would like to be featured on our website or have any ideas to contribute you are welcome to contact us.
It was first started by Mr Jim Beech in 2005.......and was then continued by Karen Morris from March 2010
